Highlights of Finland

Arrival  

Welcome to the capital of Finland - Helsinki! Upon arrival, your driver transfers you to your modern well-designed hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is free, so you can relax in your room, have dinner in a local restaurant or start exploring the nearby attractions.  

City Tour

Following breakfast at your hotel, your private guide takes you on a  wonderful 4-hour walking tour to show you the best Helsinki can offer.

During the tour, you walk through the vivid Central Harbor and Market  Square, explore the charming Old Town, visit the famous Rock Church and take a short tram ride.

The rest of the day is free for you to continue exploring the city on your own. 

Departure 

Following breakfast in your hotel, you check out and your private driver takes you to the railway station for your connection to Turku. 

Arrival & Turku City Tour With  Evening Cruise

Upon arrival, your private driver transfers you to your centrally located hotel to leave luggage.

You then meet your private guide to enjoy a 3-hour walking tour of the oldest city in Finland also known as the Christmas City of Finland and the Food Capital of Finland. Finns refer to Turku as "the Paris of Finland" due to its diverse restaurant scene and a large number of galleries and museums.

During the tour you stroll through the centuries-old Old Great Square, see Turku Cathedral and Turku Castle - one of the oldest buildings in the country. Admire the architectural beauty of Turku City Library, visit Market Square, gaze upon Turku's fascinating Market Hall and see the the Qwensel House - the oldest wooden house in town (no entrances included).

After the tour you return to the hotel or continue exploring Turku on your own if you wish.

In the evening get ready for a special Loistokari public evening cruise. A tasty tapas plate will whet your appetite on the way to Loistokari. Upon arrival at the island, you are served a  dinner buffet, including a variety of fresh, homemade smoked fish with a  selection of delicious accompaniments. This evening would not be complete without a barbecue prepared by the crew on the open-flame grill of Loistokari about three meters long.

After the cruise, you return to your hotel for overnight.

Departure
Following breakfast you check out from your hotel and depart from Turku.

Arrival

Upon arrival, you walk to your centrally-located hotel (easily accessible on foot). 

The rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest after the journey or start exploring the surrounding area on your own.

Savonlinna City Tour 

After breakfast, you meet your guide at the hotel lobby and have an exciting city tour around the most outstanding landmarks of Savonlinna, including the famous Savonlinna  Provincial Museum and Olavinlinna Castle.

Later you have the unique chance to enhance your experience of the region taking a magnificent 1.5-hour traditional steamboat cruise around  Lake Saimaa.

Please, note: steamboat cruise is available from the end of May to mid-August. In early May and from August to September it is replaced by a1-hour boat cruise.

The rest of the day is free for you to dine in one of the local restaurants, walk along the lakeshore or just relax in your hotel room.

Departure

This is the final day of your amazing Finland adventure. Following breakfast, you check out from your hotel and walk to the station to get a  train back to Helsinki.

Upon arrival, you are transferred to the airport for your flight back home. You are leaving with the ultimate experience and bright memories,  fascinated by the beauty of Finland. We wish you a safe flight and hope to work on your future trips!
