Arrival & Northern Lights Tour
Welcome to Reykjavik - the picturesque capital of Iceland! Your driver meets you at the airport and transfers you transfers you to your hotel for check-in.
You then enjoy an orientation drive Reykjavik to discover the main sights. You see the official residence of the President of Iceland called Bessastadir, as well as Hofdi, the building where the all-important summit between the former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and the former U.S.S.R. Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachev took place in 1986.
Another place you see today is the Althing building - a classical 19th-century building which is home to the Icelandic parliament's main debating chamber.
In the evening you start your northern lights hunt with a private northern lights jeep tour. Together with your driver-guide you drive out of the city, away from its light pollution. The cloud coverage is checked beforehand so you are taken to places where you will have better chances to see the Northern Lights.
A few examples: Kleifarvatn Lake, where you are likely to see the green reflections of the Aurora in the water or Thingvellir National Park to spot the Aurora dancing above the mountains. The tour takes approximately 3 hours after which you are taken back to your hotel.
Departure and South Coast Tour
Following breakfast and check-out, you meet your private guide-driver and travel to your next destination.

On the way, you visit Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, and then the Skogarfoss waterfall.
Next stop is Solheimajokull glacier tongue. A walk along the eastern path will take you very close to the glacier, a unique experience available only for guided tours.
Along the way, you will be able to see the black Reynisfjara beach and have a stop at Vik, Iceland’s southernmost town, a fishing village where you have a break for lunch.
Arrival in Hnapavellir
Upon arrival, you check in to your hotel. In the evening you have another option to admire the Northern Lights from your hotel.

Departure and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon Tour
After breakfast, you meet your driver-guide, who takes you to one of Iceland’s most beautiful locations, the Glacier Lagoon. Here you can observe and photograph the lagoon and the icebergs, and maybe take a walk along the so-called “Diamond Beach”. Then you head to Reykjavik.

You stop at Fjallsarlon, a mini version of the Glacier Lagoon often with more, but smaller icebergs, and fewer tourists.
Shortly after a break for coffee, you can walk to the beautiful Svartifoss, the Black Waterfall, a very impressive sight. Other beautiful waterfalls you see today from the road is the Systrafoss or the Sisters' Falls and the Urridafoss.
Arrival in Reykjavik & Private Northern Lights Hunt
Upon your return to Reykjavik, you check in to your hotel and have another private northern light hunt in the evening, to try and get a glimpse of the beautiful dancing lights.
Departure
This is the final day of your amazing Iceland adventure. After breakfast and check-out, your private driver transfers you to the airport for your flight back home.
