Iceland’s Northern Lights Expedition

Arrive in Reykjavik, the charming capital of Iceland! Upon your arrival, your driver will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

After settling in, embark on a guided orientation tour of Reykjavik to explore some of its key landmarks. You'll see Bessastadir, the official residence of the President of Iceland, and Hofdi, where the 1986 summit between U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev took place. Additionally, visit the iconic Althing building, a 19th-century classical structure that houses Iceland's parliament.

In the evening, prepare for your private Northern Lights hunt. Your guide will drive you away from the city’s light pollution to locations like Kleifarvatn Lake or Thingvellir National Park, where you'll have the best chance to witness the magical Aurora Borealis. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast and check-out, you’ll meet your private guide and begin your journey to the next destination.

Upon arrival at Hnappavellir, check in to your hotel and enjoy some leisure time. In the evening, you have another opportunity to view the Northern Lights from the comfort of your hotel.

After breakfast, meet your driver-guide, who will take you on a tour to the stunning Glacier Lagoon. Enjoy a walk along the "Diamond Beach," where you can marvel at the icebergs. Afterward, journey back to Reykjavik.

Upon your return to Reykjavik, check in to your hotel and get ready for one last private Northern Lights hunt in the evening.

On your final day, enjoy breakfast before check-out. Your private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
